Restaurant Renovations

We’ve recently completed this restaurant renovation for The Diner at North Point (on Mansell Road in Alpharetta). As construction partners for this project, we totally renovated the outside (the before and after pictures from the same vantage point are posted here), made some interior modifications and helped choose interior finishes (such as tile). It was a fun project and nice to see the difference once it was completed.

Paving is complete at The Veranda

We were excited to come in yesterday morning and hear that The Veranda had been paved! We didn't expect that to happen until after Thanksgiving. It looks really great out there and makes a difference in the overall appearance. Striping is next!

First Tenant at The Veranda

NY Nails will be The Veranda’s first tenant. The signage has been installed and Rhodes Design Group is busy building out their space. The shop should open by January 1, 2009. We're looking forward to it!

WOO-HOOOOOO!!!! Rhodes Design Group wins at the OBIE Awards!

We’re celebrating at Rhodes Design Group this week! Not only did we win a SILVER OBIE award for our new website (www.rhodesdesigngroup.com), Redmont Homes won a GOLD OBIE for their sales center at McGinnis Reserve which we designed for them (layout of space, displays, colors, etc). OBIE Awards are presented each year by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association. These awards are the highest honor given in the Atlanta housing industry. We are very excited about the awards!! In the spirit of football season, GO TEAM!!

Just a little bit more...

Seems like there's finishing touches being added every day at The Veranda. More landscaping and windows being installed. It's really coming together.

Landscaping installed

Here's the newest landscape view taken this morning. Those are tree-form Burford Hollies in front of the clock tower. The benches have been installed in front of the planters, too. The outside of the building will look completely finished within two weeks. Paving should happen within the next week, depending on the weather.

Drum roll, please!

Does this look COOL or what? The sign is UP at The Veranda!!! Still some touch-ups and wiring to do, but it's there!

Letters are almost done!

The sign company has one part of the sign up...should be complete by tomorrow. The letters are beautiful. The smaller letters ("The" and "at Fort Daniel") go up next. We'll post a completed photo tomorrow and then we'll get post one where the letters are illuminated.
